About BeforePump & Our Methodology
The BeforePump Research Team builds and runs an automated Binance Futures scanner. This page explains who we are, how the model works, and how we measure results transparently.
In short: BeforePump is an automated Binance Futures LONG-signal service built by the BeforePump Research Team. The scanner monitors ~178 perpetual contracts 24/7 and only fires a signal when a multi-factor model (BTC correlation + volatility + persistence) aligns. Every signal's outcome is logged publicly. This is educational information, not financial advice.
Who is behind BeforePump
The BeforePump Research Team is a group of developers and analysts focused on quantitative crypto markets. We care about one thing: measuring Binance Futures market behavior with data instead of hype. We do not give individual financial advice and we do not manage anyone's money — we build measurement tools and publish their results with full transparency.
Our core principle is verifiability: every signal the system fires is tracked for 7 days and its outcome (success or expired) is recorded on the public track record. You can also see the live state of every coin on the scanner page.
How the scanner works (methodology)
The model evaluates each coin through three independent checks, and a candidate is only considered ready when all three pass:
- BTC independence — 4-hour correlation below 0.25; the coin moves on its own momentum.
- Elevated volatility — Bollinger Band width above 0.025; price action is not quiet.
- Persistence — the state holds at least 20% over recent history, filtering out one-bar noise.
Success definition: a signal is a success when price rises 10% or more above entry within 7 days. Otherwise it is logged as "expired". We do not hide expired signals — transparency means showing every outcome.
What we are not
BeforePump is not a trading bot, does not connect to your wallet, and never executes trades for you. We do not promise profits. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Trading decisions are entirely your own responsibility.
